Stereotopia
Immersive space installation with 8 performers*.
UK 14 Kassel
Keeping track in our increasingly networked world with more and more contacts and encounters with other people is difficult. Stereotopia takes all these problems in hand and simplifies all of our daily lives by means of a simple and meaningful categorization.
Location: Kassel, Germany.
The project Stereotopia dealt with stereotypes. It was developed with Studio Lev in Kassel and took place on two abandoned office floors in downtown Kassel. The audience could register as participants at Stereotopia for an appointment to have their personal stereotype profile determined in small groups. They were to be an active part of the performance. Their stereotype was determined at eleven test stations and presented as a certificate at a closing event with optional counseling.
